Step 1: Upload as a Lead
Important: You can't send one-off emails to someone who isn't a lead in our system. You'll need to upload them as a lead first.
Go to CRM → Lists: https://app.instantly.ai/app/crm/leads
Create a new list if you don't have one
Click Actions --> Add leads
Choose 'Enter email manually'
Upload their email address to the list (leads in lists don't count toward your campaign upload limit)
Step 2: Send the one-off email
Your one-off email is sent immediately (not scheduled like campaigns).
Open a list or a campaign in the CRM
Select the lead you want to email
Click on the Row Actions --> Send Email button
A compose window opens
Select your sending account
Compose your email
Once ready, click "Send"
Important Notes
Don't Use for Bulk Emails: All recipients' email addresses will be visible in the "TO" field if you select multiple leads. If you send to 10 leads at once, all 10 can see each other's email addresses
Sending to multiple leads: Create a campaign to automate sending.
No Tracking or Analytics: We can't track open or click activities for one-off emails. Analytics for one-off emails won't show in campaign reports
If you need tracking: Use a campaign instead, even for just one lead.
