If you are connecting an account that is not Google or Microsoft, you will need to connect it via the IMAP/SMTP option. Here are the steps:
Go to the Email Accounts on the left sidebar menu.
Click Add New.
Choose IMAP/SMTP
It's important to know the functions of IMAP and SMTP:
IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol): IMAP is used to retrieve messages from your email server. It allows you to access your emails remotely while keeping them stored on the server.
SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol): SMTP is responsible for sending outgoing emails. It communicates with the email server to deliver your messages to the intended recipients.
To identify Server Settings in your email provider:
IMAP is typically referred to as the Incoming Server.
SMTP is commonly known as the Outgoing Server.
