Updated over a week ago

This article applies to sites with the WordPress.com Creator, Entrepreneur, and the legacy Pro plan. For sites on the free, Starter, and Explorer plans, you will need to upgrade your WP plan to access the feature.

Please note that visitor tracking is currently only available for website traffic from the US. Here are the steps on how to add the Website Visitors script to a WordPress site:

  1. Install and activate the free Insert Headers and Footers plugin by WPCode.

  2. On the left-hand side of your dashboard, navigate to Code SnippetsHeader & Footer.

  3. Go to the Website Visitors section in Instantly

  4. Then navigate to "Setup". Click the "Add New" button.

  5. Enter your domain. Click "Get the Pixel"

  6. Copy the Pixel code

  7. Paste the code into the Header box and click the “Save Changes” button:

  8. Go back to Instantly and test the script.

    • Test status: When installed properly, the status will show "Successful," and you’ll receive an alert confirming correct installation when testing the code.

    • Actions

      • Test code installation

      • Click </> to see the pixel code

      • Delete code: Delete the configured website

Now you can proceed to create a Slack notification or a filtered view for your site visitors.
