How to add the Website Visitors script to a website on cPanel (File manager)?

Please note that visitor tracking is currently only available for website traffic from the US. Here are the steps on how to add the Website Visitors script to a website on cPanel:

  1. Go to the Website Visitors section in Instantly

  2. Then navigate to "Setup". Click the "Add New" button.

  3. Enter your domain. Click "Get the Pixel"

  4. Log in to your cPanel account and click "File Manager". Open the "public_html" folder.

  5. Start editing the home page HTML file. It can also be an index.html if you don't have a home page.

  6. Copy the script from Instantly and add it in the header (after the <head> tag). Save the changes.

  7. Go back to Instantly and test the script. You should see the confirmation message when you test the script.

    • Test status: When installed properly, the status will show "Successful," and you’ll receive an alert confirming correct installation when testing the code.

    • Actions

      • Test code installation

      • Click </> to see the pixel code

      • Delete code: Delete the configured website

Now you can proceed to create a Slack notification or a filtered view for your site visitors.
