What’s New in API V2?
The second version of our API comes with improvements:
API V2 doubles the number of available endpoints compared to V1
API Scopes allow for granular control over API keys and their usage
Allows creating multiple API keys with different privileges
Full adherence to REST API standards
Follows strict naming rules for entities, fields (snake_case), etc.
Real-time documentation updates at developer.instantly.ai.
API access is available on all Email Outreach plans.
V1 Compatibility
While API v1 will remain available and maintained for now, it was deprecated on January 19, 2026. Integrations that rely on API v1, like Zapier, will continue working without disruption. It only applies to users building directly on the API v1.
To avoid disruptions, we encourage all users to migrate to API V2 as soon as possible.
API v2 is not compatible with API v1. You’ll need to generate a new API key specifically for API V2 endpoints. Details on how to generate an API V2 key are in the new documentation site.
