How to use Launch Gravity to extract leads

Get relevant lead data from Launchgravity

Launch Gravity is a lead database that tracks new business creations and web activity over the month. It focuses on fundable startups and always a good idea to pitch a service or product to recently funded companies because they have money to spend and looking to reinvest in growth and utility.

They also provide reports and data about Inc. 5000 (fastest-growing companies), Y combinator batches, and Companies founded by former Facebook employees. Having this type of fresh and segmented data also is a great way to do generic personalization/ice-breakers at scale, e.g. β€œCongrats on getting funding for {{companyName}}!”, β€œCongrats on your recent ProductHunt launch!”


Using Launch Gravity

There are different data segments on Launch Gravity that get updated monthly such as YCombinator lists, New Founders, Companies recently funded, etc..

Here are the following steps below.

  1. From your dashboard, navigate to Data Feeds tab.

  2. Access the list by clicking on the list name and click Add to my list.

  3. Some of the contact have visible email address once the CSV is downloaded. To enrich the other contacts with no emails, use Apollo.io or similar tools.

  4. Click on colored filters. Filter the data by Founder DNA, Experience, Gender, Country, Industry, etc..

  5. Click Export to export the data.

Note:

  • Lead lists from Launch Gravity needed to be verified before importing to the campaign.

  • To enrich the accounts with no data, you can use Apollo. The steps are described in this article.
