Canceling your Instantly subscription is straightforward, but it's important to understand what happens when you cancel and how to ensure the cancellation is complete.
Before You Cancel
Instantly has different subscription types that must be canceled separately:
Main Subscriptions
Email Outreach: Connect and warm up unlimited email accounts, upload leads, and send campaign emails.
Instantly Credits: SuperSearch, lead enrichment, lead verification, Copilot, and AI reply agent.
CRM: Manage emails, calls, SMS, tasks, and LinkedIn connections within a single platform.
Website Visitors: Track visitors from US-based traffic and convert them into leads.
Inbox Placement: Test email deliverability and spam scores.
Additional Services
Done-For-You (DFY) Services: New domains and email accounts
Pre-Warmed Accounts: Pre-warmed domains and email accounts
How to Cancel
Step 1: Access Your Billing Settings
Log in to your Instantly account
Go to Settings → Billing
Or go directly to: https://app.instantly.ai/app/settings/billing
Step 2: Cancel Each Subscription Type
You'll see multiple tabs at the top of the billing page. Each tab represents a different subscription type. For each active subscription:
Click on the tab (Email Outreach, Instantly Credits, CRM, Website Visitors, Inbox Placement)
Scroll to the bottom of that tab
Click the "Cancel Plan" button
Confirm the cancellation when prompted
Important: You must cancel each subscription separately. If you have multiple active subscriptions, repeat these steps for each tab.
To cancel add-ons, please contact our chat support before the renewal date.
Step 3: Cancel DFY/Pre-Warmed Services (If Applicable)
If you have DFY or Pre-warmed domains and email accounts:
Go to the Email Accounts & Domains tab in your billing settings
Look for any active DFY or pre-warmed account domains
Click on the domain to cancel the email accounts
The domain will expire automatically if there are no active email accounts
Note: DFY/Pre-warmed subscriptions do NOT cancel automatically when you cancel the main subscriptions.
How to Verify Your Cancellation
After canceling, verify the cancellation was successful:
Go to Settings → Billing
Check each subscription tab(Email Outreach, Instantly Credits, CRM, Website Visitors, Inbox Placement)
Successful cancellation will show:
"Cancels on [date]": If you canceled your only plan or if you cancel the Instantly Credits plan, cancellation will be scheduled for the end of the billing cycle.
Free trial: If you have multiple active subscriptions(Email Outreach, CRM, Inbox Placement, and Website visitors plans) and cancel one of them, the canceled plan ends immediately.
If you still see an active subscription without a cancellation date, the cancellation did not complete.
Common Cancellation Issues

Possible reasons:
You're on the wrong tab - Make sure you've selected the correct subscription type tab at the top
Subscription already canceled - Check if it already shows "Cancels on [date]"
Trial account - Free trials may not show a cancel button; they expire automatically
Cache issue: Refresh the page to try it again
I canceled but still got charged
I canceled but still got charged
Common causes:
Past-due invoice - If you had an outstanding invoice when you canceled, the system will continue attempting to charge that invoice even after cancellation
Cancellation after billing date - If you canceled after your renewal date, you were charged for the new billing cycle before the cancellation was processed
Multiple subscriptions - You may have canceled one subscription, but have others still active
DFY/Pre-warmed accounts not canceled - These must be canceled separately on the billing page to stop renewal. If you can't access the dashboard, you can still cancel your DFY/Pre-warmed accounts directly from the expired page.
Simply scroll down the expired page
Click "Cancel all DFY accounts" to cancel them
If you have multiple workspaces and delete the expired workspace, any DFY/Pre-warmed subscriptions linked to it will be canceled automatically
