Agency White Labeling

Learn how to use the Agency feature for white label in Instantly

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Instantly offers a white-label solution for agencies on Hyper Growth and Light Speed plans. This guide provides a step-by-step process for setting up and using this feature.

You can share access to Dashboard, Campaigns, Unibox, Analytics, CRM, and Blocklist with your clients using the Agency feature. SuperSearch is not available for client access.

Setting up the Agency Portal

Step 1: Access Agency Settings

  1. Click the Agency tab

  2. This opens the Agency Portal configuration interface

Step 2: Configure Your Custom Domain

  1. Go to your DNS zone: Access your domain's DNS management zone(where you manage your domain)

  2. Create a new CNAME record: Add a new CNAME record with the host set to anything you'd like to be your subdomain. For example, "agency" as the Host. The value is always agency.itrackly.com regardless of what subdomain name you choose.

    • Type: CNAME

    • Host: Your subdomain or domain

    • Value: agency.itrackly.com

This will enable your client log-in to appear at "agency.yourwebsite.com" or whatever you enter as your subdomain.

Step 3: Verify CNAME Propagation

DNS changes can take time to propagate across the internet. Verify your configuration is working before sharing with clients.

Check Propagation Status

  1. Enter your subdomain:

    • Example: agency.yourdomain.com

    • Click "CNAME Lookup"

  2. Verify the result:

    • The Canonical Name value should show: agency.itrackly.com

    • If it matches, your CNAME is properly configured

Step 4: Add Your Agency Logo

Customize the client portal with your branding by adding your logo. It can be added by uploading it from your PC or by pasting a direct link.

Step 5: Manage Client Access

1. In the Agency tab

2. Scroll to 'Client Accounts' section

3. Add a new client:

  • Enter the client's email address

  • Choose which sections the client can access Dashboard, Campaigns, Unibox, Analytics, CRM, or Blocklist or give access to all of them

  • Click 'Add'

4. Share the invite link: Instantly does not automatically send invitation emails to maintain complete white-label anonymity. You must manually copy the invite link by clicking on the Envelope button, and share it with your client.

Client access can be edited or updated at any time by clicking on the Edit button.

Accessing the Client Portal

When clients click the invitation link you shared:

  • Arrive at branded login page(e.g., agency.betteroutbound.com) with your logo and custom domain

  • Enter their email

  • Set their password for first-time login

  • Access their designated features

For example, going to "https://agency.betteroutbound.com" will redirect to the client login page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use multiple subdomains for different client groups?

Currently, you can only configure one agency portal per workspace. To set up multiple agency portals, please create separate workspaces.

Can clients create their own campaigns?

If you grant Campaigns access, clients can view and manage campaigns. Their level of control depends on the permissions you assign.

Do clients need their own Instantly subscription?

No. Clients access campaigns within your workspace using your subscription. This is included in your Hyper Growth or Light Speed plan.

How many clients can I add?

There's no specified limit on client accounts. You can add as many clients as you need to manage within your workspace.

Can I limit clients to see only specific campaigns?

No, you can't limit clients to see only specific campaigns when you invite them to the agency portal. Clients will be able to see all campaigns in the workspace - there's no way to restrict their access to only certain campaigns.

If you need to restrict clients to specific campaigns, we recommend creating separate workspaces and separate agency portals for different clients. Each workspace requires its own subscription, but this keeps client data completely separate.
