We will automatically pause campaigns that have too many bounces to protect your accounts and deliverability. This feature is enabled by default for all users.
The feature activates after a campaign has a minimum of 100 sent emails and a high bounce rate for recent emails.
You will see a "Bounces" error message for campaigns that are paused due to this.
After you review the cause of the bounces, you can reactivate the paused campaigns by pressing the "play" button in the campaign list.
View Bounce Reports Directly in Instantly
When an email bounces, you'll receive a bounce report in your inbox detailing why delivery failed. These reports typically include error codes and explanations from the recipient's email server, which helps you identify patterns and fix the root cause.
Open the target Campaign
Navigate to the Analytics section of the campaign
Scroll down to locate the Bounces tab
Review bounce types (Hard, Soft, Unknown) and reasons
Review details for bounced leads
Click “View” to check the bounce reason
If a campaign is paused automatically due to a high bounce rate on recent emails, please review and verify your email list and make any necessary updates before resuming the campaign.
Make sure to verify your leads.
Check your copy for spam words.
Read more about why bounces happen here.
After resuming, it will not be paused again in 7 days due to high bounce rates.
You can disable the 'Automatically pause campaigns with high bounce rates' feature from your Account Settings -> Preferences -> Outreach Preferences.
