In the video below, you will hear the strategy of creating secondary sending domains to scale up your cold email, and get more replies, more revenue.

Buy domains that are similar to your main domain. Top-level domains work best.

1. We’ve run an analysis recently on 32M cold emails and have seen worse performance (reply rate) with domain extensions such as biz, online etc. Avoid hyphens and numbers, use letters only.

2. .com and country domain extensions (.de, .be etc.) work best. We’ve had success with domains like .agency .tech too, but if possible, buy .com domains.

These are more expensive but considering the volume that a single domain can send (100+ emails a day) for months the additional $8 is well worth it.

If your business is called Shrimp.com, then buy domains like:

Getshrimp.com

Tryshrimp.com

TastyShrimpApp.com

And we recommend 2-3 email accounts/inboxes per secondary sending domain.

See the illustration below for clarification:

Here’s a list of domains with the worst reputation. Don’t use these.

We use GoDaddy for buying Domains, because we’ve used it for a long time and it has tons of integrations and tutorials. You do you.

TIP: Make sure you go to https://account.godaddy.com/subscriptions and cancel all renewals if you do not want to use these domains for more than a year.
