How to use analytics to analyze the success of your campaigns

Updated over a month ago

Analytics features provide insights and data analysis capabilities to help users understand trends, patterns, and performance metrics within a system or platform. To have a detailed explanation of Analytics, click here.

Analytics on the Account Level

The first thing is to open the Analytics tab. It's the overview of emails sent, opened, link tracking, and replies. Use the filtering options to view different campaigns.

Here are the different filtering options such as.

  • Active

  • Paused

  • Completed

Instantly gives you the option to check stats for the specific time frame using the Custom Data range.

  • Total open: any open events for all steps.

  • Unique open: how many times your email has been opened for the first time.

For example, if your lead opens step 2 for 5 different times, it will be 1 unique and 5 total opens.

Note: Our reporting is done in the UTC timezone, which is a standard practice among other providers in our industry.

This is to ensure that the analytics numbers remain timezone-independent, especially for clients running campaigns in different time zones. However, we understand the need for real-time analytics in any timezone and we're currently working on implementing this feature in our roadmap.

Analytics on the Campaign Level

You can access the analytics on the campaign level by following these procedures.

  • Total Contacted: This is the number of leads that have received at least the first email in the sequence (i.e. the sequence has started for them.)

  • Open Rate: It is the number of leads who opened at least one email in the selected time range.

  • Click Rate: It is the number of leads that clicked at least one link in your campaign.

  • Reply Rate: It is the number of leads who replied to at least one email in the selected time range.

  • Opportunities: This feature allows you to track positive replies and attach a monetary ($$) to it, so you can calculate how much money the campaign is bringing you. Opportunities consist of leads with the following statuses:

    • Interested

    • Meeting Booked

    • Meeting Completed (not closed)

    • Closed

    • Other positive custom statuses

Analytics on the Step Level

Step Analytics allows you to measure the performance of your email sequences. Based on the sequence performance you can make a decision if an additional step is necessary for your campaign, if it brings in new replies.

If there are no replies for a certain step and you are seeing low open rates, you can pause it and assign its volume to the first step. You can access the step analytics by following these quick steps.

  1. Navigate to your Campaign tab.

  2. Select the Step Analytics.

Campaign Progress Indicator

The progress indication shows the progress for every campaign. The percentage bar shows the percentage of leads that went through all the sequences and are now "Completed".

This means that the progress bar increments only on lead completed, not on individual email steps. If you hover over the indicator, more details are available:
