If you are connecting an account that is not Google or Microsoft, you will need to connect it via the IMAP/SMTP option from the Email account section:

You will need to enter your password info for both IMAP and SMTP. In case you have no 2FA enabled, just enter that account's mailbox password.

IMAP is used to retrieve messages, and SMTP is for sending data.

In your email provider settings, IMAP is an Incoming Server and SMTP is an outgoing server.

Q: Why do I have an IMAP connection error?

A: Make sure they are using the correct credentials. When connecting your email account using SMTP and IMAP, make sure to enter your details carefully to avoid any typos. This will help prevent any issues with connecting to your email account.

If you're still having trouble connecting, it could be due to the SMTP/IMAP server being down.

If the test fails, reach out to your email service provider's support team to check for any updates and to make sure that the servers are available.

If the test is successful, please reach out to our support via chat, and we will help you solve this.
