How to Enable Automatic Reply Tagging
Step 1: Enable automatic reply tagging
Go to Settings → Preferences
Enable Automatically tag lead status in replies under the AI Automations section.
Step 2: Allow AI to update existing labels(Optional)
Enable Update existing lead labels with AI if you want AI to replace a lead’s current label when it determines a more accurate one.
Leave this disabled if your team prefers to manage lead labels manually.
Step 3: Select the labels AI can use
Click Select Labels and choose which built-in and custom labels AI is allowed to apply to incoming replies. By default, the following built‑in labels are enabled: Interested, Not interested, and Out of Office.
Enable custom labels as needed. To create a new custom label, click Create New under the Custom Labels section.
Custom label selection is available on Hyper Growth and Light Speed plans.
Step 4: Test your labels
Open the Test AI tab, paste a sample reply, and click Run Test to see which label AI would apply. This lets you verify your label descriptions before using them in live campaigns.
Improving AI Accuracy
If the AI isn't classifying replies correctly, click the pencil icon next to the label and update its description to give the AI better context.
If a reply is misclassified, click the thumbs up or thumbs down icon to submit feedback. This helps improve future accuracy.
