How to Ensure Your Emails Get Delivered

Check this article to learn how to check your deliverability score

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Email deliverability determines whether your messages reach the inbox, get filtered to promotions, or land in spam.

For security and privacy reasons, there can't be a system that accurately identifies which emails landed in the lead's inbox and which went to their spam folder. However, we can measure and optimize the factors that influence deliverability.

  • Domain and sender reputation

  • Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

  • Content quality and spam triggers

  • List hygiene and engagement rates

  • Sending patterns and volume

Using Inbox Placement to Check Deliverability

Our Inbox Placement feature provides insights into where your emails are likely to land and provides detailed deliverability insights.

  • Placement rates – Probability of landing in inbox vs. promotions vs. spam

  • Blacklist status – Whether your domain or IP appears on spam blacklists

  • Spam triggers – Content elements that raise red flags

  • Email authentication – Verification of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records

  • Overall email health – Combined deliverability score

Pro Tips for Maximum Deliverability

  • Configure all DNS records. Test your DNS records using "Test Domain Setup" in the Email Accounts dashboard

  • Keep your email content relevant and valuable to your leads. Avoid spam trigger words.

  • Use subject lines that accurately reflect the content of your email and avoid using misleading or clickbait subject lines.

  • Provide a clear and easy-to-find unsubscribe link in your emails to help reduce the number of spam complaints, or let the user know they can unsubscribe at any time by replying to you.

  • Remove inactive or invalid leads from your list to avoid bounces.

  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze the results to improve the effectiveness of your email campaigns.

  • Choose an email service provider that has a good reputation to ensure deliverability.
