Preheader text is the short preview that appears next to or below the subject line in the recipient's inbox.
To add preheader text:
Open your email and switch to Code View by clicking the
<>icon.Add the following code to the very top of your email copy:
<div style="font-size:0px;line-height:1px;mso-line-height-rule:exactly;display:none;max-width:0px;max-height:0px;opacity:0;overflow:hidden;mso-hide:all;">Your preheader text here.</div>Replace "Your preheader text here" with the preview text you want recipients to see.
Switch out of Code View
Add your email copy
Send yourself a test email to verify it's working properly.
Note that the preheader text will appear in the inbox preview but won't be visible when the email is opened.
Note: The preheader text won't be visible when previewing the email within Instantly. To verify it's working, send yourself a test email.
