You can embed Loom videos directly in your email sequences to boost engagement.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Get Your Loom Video Code
Go to your Loom video's Share page in Loom
Click on the Embed tab
Click "Copy Thumbnail code"
Step 2: Add the Code to Instantly
In your Instantly account, go to Sequences
Click the "Code View" button
Paste the thumbnail code where you want the video to appear
The thumbnail code for your Loom video should look like this. Especially the second last line, which starts with "src". This is responsible for creating a thumbnail GIF in your email body.
Step 3: Preview
Click the "Preview" button
Choose a lead from the 'Load data for lead' field to see how the video thumbnail appears
Send a test email to verify everything works
Click the thumbnail in your test email to confirm it opens the correct Loom video
Why Videos Might Not Work
If your video thumbnail doesn't display after following these steps, check these two settings:
1. Delivery Optimization Setting
Go to your campaign's Options section
Make sure "Delivery Optimization" is disabled
Send emails as text-only(no HTML)
When enabled, this sends all emails as plain text

Send first email as text-only
When enabled, this sends the first email as plain text
This feature strips images from Step 1
2. First Email Text-Only Setting
Go to Advanced Deliverability settings
Make sure "Always send first email as text-only" is disabled
