SMTP settings for Microsoft accounts (Microsoft Connector)

For Microsoft accounts

Microsoft accounts are personal accounts created and managed by Microsoft. Here are the instructions on how to enable the SMTP setting for Microsoft 365/Outlook accounts purchased directly from Microsoft. You can watch the full video walkthrough here.

Here are the steps below.

  1. Login to your Microsoft Admin Center.

  2. Navigate to Active Users.

  3. On a side window, click on Mail tab and select Manage email apps.

  4. Check IMAP and Authenticated SMTP.

  5. Click Save changes.

  6. Wait for an hour and connect your account to Instantly.


For Microsoft accounts from GoDaddy

Here are the instructions on how to enable the SMTP setting for Microsoft 365/Outlook accounts purchased from GoDaddy. You can watch the full video walkthrough here.

Here are the steps below.

  1. Login to your GoDaddy account.

  2. Navigate to My Products.

  3. Scroll down and select Email and Office section.

  4. Click Manage all and find the user you want to enable SMTP for.

  5. Click Manage and click Advanced Settings.

  6. Click on SMTP Authentication.

  7. Wait for an hour and connect your account to Instantly.
