Uploaded Contacts Limits

Learn about the uploaded contacts limit in the Email Outreach plans

Updated this week

The uploaded contacts limit counts any contact you have uploaded to campaigns, regardless of campaign status (active, paused, or draft). This is the total number of leads you can have across all campaigns in your workspace.

  • Free trial: 250 uploaded contacts

  • Growth plan: 1,000 uploaded contacts

  • Hyper Growth plan: 25,000 uploaded contacts

  • Light Speed plan: 100,000 uploaded contacts

  • Each add-on: +25,000 uploaded contacts

Important: The uploaded contacts limit is a fixed total, not a monthly allowance. Unlike credits, it does not reset or refresh each month.

How to Check Your Uploaded Contacts Limit

You can view your current uploaded contacts limit and usage on the billing page. The billing page displays your usage in this format:

Current number of contacts uploaded / Total uploaded contacts limit

Example: 4,130 / 25,000 in the below example means:

  • You have uploaded 4,130 leads across all your campaigns

  • Your total uploaded contacts limit is 25,000 (Hyper Growth plan)

  • You have 20,870 contacts remaining before reaching your limit

How to Increase Your Uploaded Contacts Limit

If you've reached your limit and want to upload more leads, you have several options:

Option 1: Upgrade Your Plan or Add an Add-On

  • Go to the billing page

  • Upgrade to a higher-tier plan

  • Or purchase an add-on for an additional 25,000 contacts(available for Hyper Growth or Light Speed plans only)

  • Your uploaded contact limit increases immediately upon upgrade

Option 2: Delete Unused Campaigns

Delete campaigns you no longer need to free up space in your uploaded contacts limit.

  • Go to your Campaigns dashboard

  • Identify campaigns that are no longer needed

  • Delete the campaigns. All leads in the campaign will also be deleted

  • Wait 5 minutes for the system to update your limit

  • Refresh the billing page to see the updated limit

Option 3: Delete Old or Irrelevant Leads

Remove leads from your campaigns that are no longer relevant to free up capacity.

  • Open the campaign containing old/irrelevant leads

  • Select and delete the leads you no longer need

  • Wait 5 minutes for the system to update your limit

  • Refresh the billing page to see the updated limit

Deleting leads or campaigns:

  • ✅ Frees up space in your uploaded contacts limit

  • ❌ Deleting from "Lists" won't reduce your uploaded limit

  • ❌ Does NOT restore Instantly Credits used for lead verification or generation

  • ❌ Deleted leads cannot be recovered -> download your leads as a backup before deletion

Troubleshooting: Upload Limit Issues

Does my upload limit reset monthly?

No, your upload limit does not reset monthly. The uploaded contacts limit is a fixed total that counts all leads you've ever uploaded to campaigns (active, paused, completed, and draft).

This limit stays the same regardless of whether you're on monthly or annual billing. Unlike credits, it doesn't refresh each month.

Why does it still say I'm at my limit after deleting leads?

It takes 5-10 minutes for the contact limit to update after deleting leads from your campaign. If it's been longer than that, try these steps:

  • Force refresh your billing page

  • Verify you're in the right workspace

  • Make sure you deleted from campaigns, not lists
    • Only leads removed from campaigns free up space
    • Deleting from "Lists" won't reduce your uploaded limit

My upload number doesn't match what I see in my campaigns

The uploaded contacts count on your billing page includes all leads across all campaigns (active, paused, completed, and draft), which might be why the numbers don't match what you see in individual campaigns. To verify your total count:

  • Go to Billing pageEmail Outreach plan to see the usage

  • Count Leads in Each Campaign. You might have forgotten leads in old or paused campaigns.

    • Go to CRM > Campaigns

    • Select each campaign (including paused, completed, and draft campaigns)

    • Check the lead count displayed next to the search bar

    • Add up the totals from all campaigns

  • Cache issue: If numbers still seem off, try refreshing to avoid cache issue

Important: All leads count toward your limit, even if they're duplicates across campaigns. Example:
