DFY (Done-for-you) service from Instantly. Automated Email Setup.

We are thrilled to introduce the Done-for-you service that will save you countless hours on your campaign setup.

The Done-For-You (DFY) service eliminates the complexity of setting up email infrastructure for campaigns. Instead of spending hours buying domains, configuring DNS, and setting up inboxes yourself, Instantly handles everything in just a few clicks.

Instantly DFY email accounts are exclusively configured for use within the Instantly platform. This ensures that we can maintain the correct setup and provide ongoing support.

We currently retain domain ownership and administrator access for any purchases and are unable to transfer them over.


Purchasing DFY Domains and Accounts

Step 1: Access DFY Setup

  • Go to Email Accounts dashboard

  • Click "Add New" button

  • Select "Done-for-You Email Setup" option

Step 2: Enter Your Primary Domain

  • Your main business domain (e.g., yourbusiness.com)

  • Used to generate related secondary domains

  • Secondary domains will be similar but distinct

We currently only support .com, and .org TLDs as these provide optimal email performance. Other TLDs such as .io or .ai are not supported at this time.

Step 3: Select Secondary Domains

After entering the domain, our system suggests secondary domains based on your primary domain

  • Review suggested options

  • Select domains you want to purchase

  • You can select as many or as few as you like and click Next

  • If you don't like the initial suggestions, click Search More for additional options.

Step 4: Set Forwarding Domain (Optional)

Redirects visitors from secondary domains to your main website. If your leads visit secondary domains, they'll be redirected to your main domain.

  • Enter your main domain in the "Forwarding Domain" field

  • Example: yourbusiness.com

  • All secondary domains will redirect there

Step 5: Customize Email Addresses

  • Enter desired name in the Email field:

    • Example: "john", "jane"

    • System generates full addresses automatically based on the name

  • Don't like generated names?

    • Click "Trash" icon in the Action column to delete

    • Type new name

    • Click "Add" to generate a new email address

Step 6: Select Number of Inboxes

Inbox limits: Maximum 5 email accounts per DFY domain

At the bottom of the page, you can see your monthly and annual prices based on the number of domains and inboxes you've selected.

Step 7: Place Your Order

Review selections:

  • Verify domains chosen

  • Confirm email addresses

  • Check total inbox count

  • Review pricing

Click "Place Order" and follow the payment process to complete your order.


Setup Timeline

After payment, it takes 24 to 72 business hours for us to set up everything and for the DNS records to propagate. You can monitor the setup progress:

  • Go to the Email Accounts dashboard

  • Look for your new DFY accounts

  • "Setup Pending" status: Configuration still in progress

  • The warmup will be enabled automatically after the setup is complete.

  • If setup takes longer than 72 business hours: Please contact support for assistance.

DFY Billing and Subscription

DFY Domain renewal:

  • Domains registered for 1 year

  • Domains renew annually if accounts are still active: $15/month

If you canceled all DFY email accounts connected to the domain and no new DFY email accounts are added to it before renewal, the domain will expire automatically, and you won't be charged again.

DFY Email account renewal:

  • Automatically renews on 15th of each month

  • Billed monthly for email accounts: $5/month

  • Separate from domain renewal

Canceling DFY Domains & Accounts:

  1. Go to the billing page

  2. Navigate to the Email Accounts & Domains tab.

  3. Click on the domain with accounts you want to cancel

  4. Select accounts to cancel:

    • Cancel individual accounts

    • Or cancel all accounts on the domain

  5. Billing stops for the canceled accounts

  6. If ALL accounts on the domain are canceled, the domain will be canceled automatically

Reactivating Canceled DFY Accounts

To reactivate canceled DFY email accounts, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Email Accounts dashboard

  2. Click "Add New"

  3. Select "Done-for-You Email Setup"

  4. Navigate to "Existing Domains" section

  5. Click on the DFY domain to reactivate accounts before the domain expires(Max 5 accounts per DFY domain)


DFY Account Passwords

You can download DFY account passwords from the Billing section. Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the billing page

  2. Navigate to the Email Accounts & Domains tab.

  3. Click 'Get passwords'.

  4. Once you make the request, the workspace owner will need to submit the security token to receive an email containing all the account passwords. Check Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder if not in inbox.

  5. Once you get the password, you can log in to Gmail to customize your profile images and sender name if needed.

Only the admin and owner roles have access to the Billing β†’ Email Accounts & Domains section. If you're in the Editor or VA role, please contact the workspace owner to request the account password.

It's not recommended to change the default password since we won't be able to reconnect your email accounts in case of any disconnects.


DFY Domain Forwarding

You can change forwarding even after accounts are created. Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the billing page

  2. Navigate to the Email Accounts and Domains tab

  3. Select the domain to update

  4. Update forwarding domain field
